A DRUG driver caught behind the wheel while over the drug limit has been disqualified.
Matthew Reed, of Fine Acres Rise, Over Wallop, was stopped driving a Ford in Atholl Court on January 16.
A blood test revealed he had not less than 26 micrograms of cocaine in his system – the legal limit is 10.
The 48-year-old was also found with more than 200 micrograms of benzoylecgonine, a bi-product of cocaine, in his blood – the limit being 50.
At Basingstoke Magistrates Court on July 12 he pleaded guilty to the two offences.
Magistrates banned Reed from driving for 12 months and fined him £120. He must also pay £30 court costs and £30 victim surcharge.
