A CAR has flipped and crashed into a bush near Andover.

Police were called shortly after 8am to reports of a Vauxhall on its roof in a ditch on Watery Lane, in Upper Clatford.

According to Hampshire police no one was in or with the vehicle when officers arrived at the scene.

A vehicle recovery truck was called in by police to lift the Vauxhall Corsa out of the greenery.

A passerby said: "This is the second car I have seen crash into the hedge in the last six months.

"The problem is it's national speed limit so people are tempted to put their foot down but the road does snake round and it can be very dangerous."
