A MUCH-LOVED Andover café has been hit with an “improvement necessary” hygiene rating – but its owner says the issues have been rectified.
Chalkies Coffee Bar, on the High Street, was visited at random by inspectors last month with the report published on Saturday.
The café was given a two-out-of-five hygiene rating, a minor improvement from the one-star score it received before reopening under a new name and ownership.
