A ‘ONCE-in-a-generation’ £1.3million project to transform the Town Mills area in Andover has been given the green light.

The plans will see the part of town made into a picturesque public park with a shared cycle and footpath from Western Avenue and the new riverside boardwalk.

On Thursday last week members of Test Valley Borough Council’s (TVBC) northern planning committee gave the go ahead for the project, with much of the scheme not requiring planning permission.
