We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Digital Advertising Consultant, to join our North Hampshire division within Newsquest Media Group, which is one of the largest multi-media companies in the UK.

We have a successful team of experienced media sales and marketing solutions consultants, and we’re constantly looking to add exceptional talent to our organisation.

The Role: This role is a customer-facing, field-based sales role that involves prospecting, consulting and closing new business proposals to new business clients across our award-winning suite of best-in-class digital marketing services, including media advertising products, you will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with your clients to maximise revenue and pipeline sales.

The role will have a heavy element of sourcing and qualifying leads, setting appointments through self-prospecting, and preparing compelling propositions to deliver you will mostly be working with SME businesses but may look at larger organisations so must be able to demonstrate and all-round approach.

You will use your sales expertise to eliminate objections, set realistic expectations with clients and steer the sales process through to contract signature. You will also assist in transitioning the client to our post-sales service and account management team.

We need you to have: Previous experience in B2B digital and/or digital marketing sales is ideal in relation to the responsibilities and time management necessary. This does not have to be in the media industry but would be desirable.

In addition, you must have: • Previous B2B sales skills, and a proven track-record of delivering new revenues and clients.

• A minimum of 18 months experience in selling digital display products.

• Professional and competent client services skills, and you must be experienced with client relationship management and retaining clients over a long period of time.

• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

• An attitude that embraces new technologies, with a desire to certify yourself with relevant product qualifications (e.g. Google AdWords)

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, and be able to confidently handle sales objections

• Resilience and determination in the role, and be self-sufficient, able to spend long periods of and maintain motivation levels
