POLICE have reopened a stretch of the A303 following a crash involving a lorry and a cyclist this afternoon.
Highways England confirmed the news via its Twitter account this evening, noting that all lanes on the dual carriageway are now open and thanking drivers for their patience.
The crash took place shortly after midday today (Monday) on the westbound carriageway, just east of Solstice Park, near Amesbury.
Officers had closed the road – in both directions – for roughly six hours between the A338 and A345 junctions while emergency services attended the scene.
Members of the South Western Ambulance Service were also present, including critical care paramedics from the air ambulance.
At the time of writing, details of any injuries have not yet been provided.
