TRAFFIC officers have cleared the scene of a crash on the A34 northbound this morning which left one lane blocked.
However, Highways England say a lane restriction remains in place and traffic continues to move slowly.
The incident took place on the A34 northbound, between the A303 and A343 junctions, near Tufton and Whitchurch.
Police were called to the scene at 6.24am, with two ambulances also in present to attend to the drivers of the two cars involved in the crash.
Both drivers, one male and one female, sustained minor injuries and were able to be treated at the scene by the two ambulance crews.
After tailbacks of up to five miles had been reported, traffic is now moving slowly but queues of up to 15 minutes remain.
