A WOMAN has been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences after police carried out a search of a property in Tidworth.
Officers, including those from Wiltshire Police’s special operations department, searched an address at Bourne View, Tidworth, this morning.
A local female was arrested following the search and police say the investigation remains ongoing.
One eyewitness reported seeing six police cars in the area, plus a number of officers, including sniffer dogs, at the property this morning.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “South East CPT officers and Wiltshire Police’s specialist operations department carried out a drugs warrant at an address in Bourne View, Tidworth, this morning.
“As a result of this warrant, a local female was arrested on suspicion of drugs offences.
“As this investigation is ongoing no further comments will be made at this time but local officers want to remind people that drugs offences will not be tolerated and robust action will be taken.”
