A ROAD will be closed for the next six days while works to replace an old gas main continue.
Bar Lane in Astley Bridge will be closed at the junction of Belmont Road between today and next Tuesday, while Cadent Gas carry the works out.
The roadworks are one set of five starting around Bolton today.
In Ladybridge, there will be temporary traffic lights in Armadale Road until tomorrow.
They will be in effect during off-peak hours, at the junction with Marnland Grove.
It is to allow Virgin Media to carry out reinstatement works to a manhole cover.
Temporary traffic lights will also be in place in Derby Street until Friday.
Openreach will be doing telecoms works at the junction with High Street.
Lower Bridgeman Street will be hit with off-peak lane closures until Friday, as Vodafone carry out footway repairs..
In Westhoughton, stop/go boards will be used in Wearish Lane, while Highways carry out routine cleaning and maintenance works.
