A CAR that costs over £37,000 was amongst the items stolen during three separate burglaries in the space of four days last week.

The incidents took place across Andover and in all three break-ins, the culprits gained access via the rear patio doors.

Between 5pm on Saturday night and 1am on Sunday morning, a property in Farrs Avenue was broken into, where a Black Audi SQ2 plus a number of other items were stolen.

Also on Saturday, burglars gained access to a property in Cummins Close during the day, sometime between 9.30pm and 8.30pm. This time a quantity of jewellery was taken.

A property in Moneyer Road, Saxon Fields, was also broken into last Wednesday morning, and although no items were stolen, two males were seen in the vicinity before leaving in a light blue vehicle.

Police are now urging residents to remain cautious.

A statement from PCSO Renee Broad said: “We would like to take this opportunity to remind you to be vigilant and review your home security measures.
