THE list of candidates set to stand in an Andover town council by-election has been revealed.
Test Valley Borough Council (TVBC) has confirmed the details for the Downlands ward by-election, which has been called after ex-councillor Andy Fitchet stepped down from the authority in September.
The statement of persons nominated for the ward, which lists the candidates standing in the by-election, was today (Friday) published by TVBC.
Standing for election are:
- Adam Buckenham (Independent)
- Kevin Hughes (Liberal Democrats)
- Alan Nunn (Independent)
A poll will be taken on Thursday, November 28, between the hours of 7am and 10pm.
Residents registered to vote in the ward – which covers, amongst other areas, Picket Piece and Picket Twenty – may receive their polling cards notifying them of the by-election from next week.
