TWO Andover charities were presented with cheques for £750 after funds were generated at an annual event promoting small businesses.
Christopher Jackson, who runs chauffeur service Let Me Drive You, and Iris Anderson hosted the Main Event last month, where local businesses banded together to raise funds for Andover and District Mencap and Andover Mind.
The event was supported by Theo Paphitis, who also donated to the cause, as well as special guest and business coach Adam Stott.
Speaking after the event, Christopher said: “As always a big thank you to everyone that turns up and supports the evening event, there are many to mention so please accept this as a big thank you.
“Also to Iris Andersen, who works tirelessly to support the town and its community, and of course Adam Stott for travelling from Essex and Theo for his kind donation.”
The Main Event also gave Andover businesses the chance to display their products and services, hear from guest speakers and network with other local companies.
