A NEW drive-through coffee shop has opened near Andover.
Starbucks opened their new cafe at Popham yesterday, on the eastbound A303 carriageway.
It has lead to 14 new jobs in the area.
The American chain also have a cafe at Popham on the other side of the A303.
To celebrate its opening, customers were able to sample some items from the menu, including the Toasted Marshmallow Hot Chocolate and the Toffee Nut, Gingerbread and Eggnog Lattes.
The store will be operated by EG Group.
A Starbucks statement said: "The store team invites local residents and visitors in the Winchester and Basingstoke areas to visit the conveniently located store to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and relax with the comfortable seating and free wi-fi.
"Customers looking to recharge while on the go can use the convenient Drive Thru lane.
"Starbucks coffee is 99% ethically sourced and accredited by Conservation International under the C.A.F.E. Practices programme."
Meanwhile, Rob Todorov, Starbucks Brand Manager at EG Group, added: "We look forward to welcoming customers to our new Drive Thru store in Winchester.
"We are proud to support Children in Need, which is a charity close to our hearts, and the important work that this organisation does helping disadvantaged children across the UK."
The new store is the last service station on the A303 before it meets the M3.
The store's opening times are 6am-8pm Monday - Friday, 7am-8pm on Saturday and 8am-8pm on Sunday.
