AN ANDOVER man has been arrested on suspicion of public order offences after an incident in the town at the weekend.
Officers were called to a nightclub in the town centre by the venue's security staff at around 2am on Sunday morning.
A 34-year-old man from Andover was later arrested but has since been released on bail.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "We can confirm that officers were called by security staff at Plush Lounge Bar, in London Street, Andover, at 2am on Sunday 29 December. Officers attended.
"A 34-year-old man from Andover was arrested on suspicion of two public order offences.
"He has been released on police bail until Sunday, January 26, 2020, pending further enquiries."
