A 70-YEAR-OLD man was "punched in the head" during an incident in Amesbury yesterday (Monday).
The attack happened at Archers Gate field at around 4pm.
Police say the victim had asked a teenager not to ride a quad bike on the field, after which he was punched in the head by another man.
The suspect is described as white, between 20 and 30 years of age with short dark hair and facial hair.
Police have issued an appeal for witnesses, urging anyone with information to come forward.
