POLICE have shared advice after reports of tools being stolen across the borough.

Burglars are said to have been targeting sheds and garages and stealing tools from within, with a number of incidents reported throughout Test Valley.

Officers have advised that residents keep tools and valuables locked away and out of sight, whilst also recommending the registration of such items on Immobilise.

A statement from Hampshire Constabulary read: “Any property such as, power tools and pedal cycles can be registered on Immobilise, which is a UK national property register.

“If your property is registered and does get stolen, having it registered on Immobilise means that it can be tracked back to the owner if the property is found.

Such items can be registered at www.imobilise.com

The police statement continued: “If you do see any suspicious person or activity then please report it through 101 or the Hampshire Constabulary website.”
