THE front end of a car was left completely wrecked after a two-vehicle crash in Andover this afternoon (Tuesday).
Photos shared by firefighters show the carnage caused by the collision, which took place on the A343, at the junction for River Way, near Tesco.
The road was left partially blocked by the cars – a grey Volkswagen and a white Mazda – as emergency services attended the scene.
The Volkswagen was heavily damaged above the left-hand headlight and front wheel.
The front of the Mazda, meanwhile, was ripped off with debris seen littering the road and public footpath.
No one was reported to be seriously injured in the crash.
Fire crews were in attendance but did not need to cut anyone out of their vehicles. Instead they assisted with scene safety.
The police were also involved at the scene.
Officers say they were called to the scene at around 11.28am after reports of a two-car crash on the A343.
One person reported minor injuries and the vehicles are being recovered.
