A PICKET Piece breakfast and lunch spot has once again scored top marks after a visit from food hygiene inspectors.

Too Fast Too Filling, in the Commercial Centre, was rated five stars after a visit from inspectors at the end of last month.

It means the eatery maintains the rating it first achieved during a previous inspection in January 2018.

A report, released by Test Valley Borough Council this week, shows that the café was rated ‘very good’ for the cleanliness and condition of its facilities and building.

This includes having an appropriate layout, ventilation system, hand-washing facilities and pest control.

The café’s hygienic food handling, which covers food preparation, cooking, reheating, cooling and storage, was rated ‘good’, as was its management of food safety.

This includes system checks to ensure that food served is safe to eat and that staff know about food safety.

Too Fast Too Filling serves up traditional breakfast and lunch cuisine, and says it prides itself on "paying special attention to every fine detail and only using the very finest ingredients".
