TWO fire crews worked together to rescue a trapped woman from her car following a crash this morning.
Just after 6.05am today, Sunday, February 23, fire engines from Runcorn and Widnes were called to the scene of a one vehicle collision on Daresbury Expressway in Runcorn.
On arrival crews found a car on its side and a casualty trapped inside.
Police closed the road as emergency services worked at the scene.
Firefighters got the casualty out of the car.
They administered first aid to the casualty before handing her over to the care of paramedics.
Firefighters then handed the incident over to the police.
Fire crews were in attendance for around half-an-hour.
