Police are appealing to the public for help in the search for the tractor
POLICE are appealing for the public’s assistance after a tractor was stolen just over the Wiltshire border this week.
Officers say the theft took place sometime between 7pm on Tuesday and 10am the following morning.
The tractor was taken from a farm in Winterbourne Gunner, near Porton Down.
It is believed the vehicle was loaded on to a lorry near the entrance to the farm before being taken away.
Police have appealed to anyone who may have ben in the area and witnessed something to get in touch.
