There are now 41 cases of coronavirus in Hampshire as the U.K's number of positive patients has shot up to 1,140.
The number in Hampshire doubled from Saturday to Sunday, rising from 20 cases to 41 against a local population of 1,376,316 residents.
In Andover, the Advertiser is aware of two positive Covid-19 cases.
Yesterday, the deputy mayor Lauren Banville revealed she and her two sons were self-isolating after fearing they had contracted the virus.
To date, 18 people have recovered from the disease in the UK while 21 people have died.
