Dear Editor,
I popped into my local Co-op last Friday (March 27) to get a loaf of bread and some milk. This shop is a life saver, the staff are always at hand to help.
Now we all know the current rules about the coronavirus and hopefully we try to keep to them. But I was shocked at what greeted me at the till.
The Co-op's protection for their staff was just some shrink wrap wrapped round the till area! Surely this not good enough?
The Co-op should protect its employees and the general public. These shop assistants are there for us, they need protecting.
Help those who help us!
