TWO key figures in the Morecambe Bay hospital trust have taken up new jobs elsewhere.
The University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust's chief operating officer Foluke Ajayi, and the deputy director of workforce Gertie Nic Philib, have left the trust.
Chief executive Aaron Cummins said: “Both Foluke Ajayi, our Chief Operating Officer and the previous Deputy Director of Workforce, chose to leave the trust to further their careers elsewhere within the NHS. I congratulate them both on their new appointments and wish them well for the future.
“Kate Maynard takes up the post of Interim Chief Operating Officer and I wish her every success in her promotion.
"We have taken the opportunity to review senior leadership arrangements in the People and Organisational Development Team and will be sharing details more widely in the coming weeks.”
