A WOMAN has been charged in connection with a series of alleged assaults on staff at the Royal Bolton Hospital.
It comes after police were called to the hospital at around 2.30pm on April 4 following reports that a member of the public had allegedly punched a nurse and spat at two security guards.
Louise Adams, aged 58, of Haydock Street, Bolton, has since been charged on three counts of assaulting an emergency service worker, Greater Manchester Police confirmed.
Adams has been remanded in police custody and will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on April 6.
