A NORTH West Hampshire MP Kit Malthouse sends “all his prayers and good wishes” after it was revealed that Boris Johnson was transferred to intensive care.
Mr Malthouse, who spent six years as the PM’s deputy mayor in London, has wished Mr Johnson well as he spent a night in ICU on Monday, April 6.
He told the Gazette: “I’ve known Boris for many years, and his innate energy combined with the top class care he’s getting at St Thomas’s means we all hope for a swift recovery.
“As we approach the peak of this horrible infection, I hope everyone will take extra care to observe the rules of social distancing over the Easter weekend.”
Downing Street announced today that the Prime Minister is now stable following a worsening of his coronavirus symptoms.
The Prime Minister’s official spokesman said he had been receiving “standard oxygen treatment” but had not required any other assistance in breathing.
His spokesman said the move was a “precautionary step” in case he needed to be put on a ventilator.
