POLICE have warned residents of a ‘suspicious male’ in sunglasses and a hoodie riding a push bike in Andover.
Officers say the man has been seen looking around the houses and cars in the Ox Drove area.
He was said to be knocking on doors 'asking and saying some very strange things to the residents', while he has also commented on how nice certain cars were in the area.
Police have not offered any further description of the man, other than that he was riding a push bike with his hood up and also wearing sunglasses
Residents are now being urged to take precautions and report any further suspicious behaviour to police.
A message sent on behalf of Hampshire Constabulary read: “Please can you make sure that your property and vehicles are secured whenever they are not in use and keep all keys well out of view away from doors and windows.
“Do not leave any valuables on view in vehicles.
“If you see this male or anyone else acting suspicious in the area then please call 101 or 999 if you are witnessing a crime in progress.”
