POLICE are appealing for the public’s help in their search for a missing man believed to be in a village just over the Wiltshire border.

Yussef Nadim, 36, was last seen at an address in Salisbury on Thursday afternoon.

Officers say their enquiries suggest he could be in the Winterbourne Gunner area, so anyone out walking in the vicinity is urged to keep a look out for him.

A statement from police read: “We do not have a photograph of him, but he is described as white, with auburn hair and a short cut auburn beard.

“He is of slim build and around 5ft 9ins tall.

“He is wearing a green wax three quarter length jacket and navy blue canvas trousers.”

Due to the adverse weather it is believed he may be sheltering from the rain.

Anyone who may have seen Mr Nadim is urged to call 999 and quote log 299 of yesterday (18/06).
