PAULTONS PARK will be providing free virtual queuing features via mobile app when it opens its doors next month.

All of the park’s rides and most of its attractions, including Peppa Pig World, Critter Creek and Lost Kingdom, are set to be open for guests to enjoy.

And the free-to-download Paultons Park mobile app will support the management of social distancing measures across the park, allowing for virtual queuing for the most popular rides.

Guests will be automatically notified when they can board the ride, freeing them from standing in queues in close proximity to other guests.

Virtual food ordering from selected outlets on the park will also be made available in due course this summer through the mobile app.

James Mancey, Operations Director at Paultons Park said: “We are proud to be one of the first UK theme parks to be offering free virtual queuing in our mobile app. We recognised that this technology would play a crucial role in our reopening strategy and accelerated our plans to bring this feature to fruition as a result of COVID-19.

“Our teams have worked hard to develop a plan for reopening that refuses to compromise on the quality of our guests’ experience, while ensuring safety remains a priority. We are confident that the app will greatly support this ambition.”

Paultons Park has implemented a series of robust measures to manage the guest experience, in line with its TripAdvisor rating as the UK’s number one family theme park.

Daily guest numbers will initially be strictly limited, with all visits pre-booked online. New seating plans for rides and attractions are also in place, ensuring there are gaps between seats and rows to allow social distancing.

James added: “Although the park will operate slightly differently for a while, we are committed to ensuring that families have a wonderful day at Paultons Park, full of the same magic and offering superb value for money.

“Throughout one of the most challenging times in our history, we have remained true to our values of safety, quality, success and care for our guests and people. Re-opening our gates to much-missed guests is the first step onto what could be a long road to normality and prioritising safety will remain crucial to us in the coming weeks and months.

“We are confident that we have implemented the right changes to provide the full Paultons Park experience our guests know and love, hand in hand with meticulous attention to safety and distancing measures. The entire team cannot wait to see and hear the park full of life again.”

Paultons Park will open to the public at 10am on Saturday, July 4.

Indoor play areas, Water Kingdom, Muddy Puddles and the 4D Show Street Cinema will be closed until further notice, in line with government guidance.
