POLICE are appealing for help this evening after cows escaped from their field in Andover.
Officers were called after a number of cows escaped from their field adjacent to Anton Lakes, behind KFC.
And now officers have taken to social media to ask for help tracking down the owner of the field, so that the cows can be safely returned.
They are asking for the owner to get in touch with police as soon as possible.
The post on the Test Valley Cops Facebook page asks for "helpful and constructive replies only".
A spokesperson said: "The police in Andover have been called to some roaming cows who appear to have escaped from the field adjacent to Anton Lakes, behind KFC.
"We would like to secure the cows back in their field so we would appeal to anyone that knows the owners to get in touch with police as soon as possible."
You can get in touch with police by calling 101.
