Pupils at Vigo Primary School were busy before the Covid-19 lockdown raising money for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
Children at the school held a dress down day and a craft session making gifts for Mothers’ Day.
And this week, the Junior Governors, who led the fundraising events, were able to present £100 to the charity on behalf of the school.
Janine Lake, teacher and Junior Governor co-ordinator, said: “I would personally like to thank all the junior governors for their efforts in raising the money, during a turbulent time.
“We look forward to raising more money for the cause in the new academic year.”
