AN END of an era has drawn to a close for David Wilson Homes in Andover as its Locksbridge Park development has completely sold out.

All 390 properties have been sold on Locksbridge Road, which launched in 2014, and the final residents will soon be moving into their new homes.

A couple of first-time buyers who moved to Locksbridge Park, Poppy Wyles and Harrison Crockford, secured a Bayswater style home and made the most of the community.

Andover Advertiser:

Poppy said: “There is a lovely community growing at the development and our neighbours have been really friendly ever since we moved in.

“Locksbridge Park is in a convenient location and being only a five minute drive away from the shops is really helpful.”

In line with the planning agreement with the local authorities, David Wilson Homes has contributed more than £400,000 towards sports facilities and nearly £650,000 towards the community in the local area.

As a result of this contribution, this has seen multiple play areas, a football pitch and a tennis court built at Locksbridge Park.

Rob Allen, sales director at David Wilson Homes Southern, said: “We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our time at Locksbridge Park and it’s been wonderful to see a wide range of homebuyers make the community their new home.

“Not only has the development helped first time buyers begin their journey as homeowners, it’s also provided growing families with more room to grow and we’ve witnessed the neighbourhood thrive from start to finish.

“We’ve also had the opportunity to invest in Andover and contribute to the amenities within the town for new and existing residents.”
