A SENIOR home care company has been awarded an overall Outstanding rating and received a glowing inspection report from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

During the unannounced inspection, Right at Home Basingstoke located in Daneshill, was rated “Outstanding” for 'caring and responsive', leading to an overall Outstanding.

This was the second time the service, which was established in August 2015, had been fully inspected post-registration with the CQC.

At the previous inspection it had received an overall Good rating with Outstanding for caring.

Right at Home provides domiciliary care and support to people living in their own homes, predominantly in the Basingstoke area but extending to Hartley Wintney, Whitchurch, Tadley and Odiham. According to the CQC report, one of the key strengths of the service was how caring it was.

Kevin Smith, owner of Right at Home Basingstoke, said: ”I’m so pleased with the outcome of this inspection.

"It’s fantastic the team here have been recognised for all the great work they do. They are truly inspirational and are always going the extra mile for our clients."
