A SUTTON Scotney-based hospice has reopened the doors to its charity warehouse after being closed for months due to the Covid-19 pandemic

As of August 17, the Naomi House and Jacksplace warehouse in Winnall, will be be open once again. This follows the successful re-opening of ten of their charity shops in North End, Chineham, Totton, Romsey, Shaftesbury, Fareham, Ferndown, Andover, Alton and Winchester.

Supporters who used lockdown to have a considerable spring clean are now able to drop off any goods they wish to donate to using the charity’s new pre-booked appointment system. In the interest of safety for their customers, staff and volunteers, Naomi House and Jacksplace will only be able to accept donated goods if you have a booked appointment, no drop-ins will be allowed.

John Egan, head of retail, said: “We are extremely pleased to be able to introduce this booking system to accept donations at our warehouse in a safe and socially distanced manner. While we are so incredibly grateful for any and all donations that we receive, we’re kindly asking for good quality, clean donations, in a saleable condition only please, this is to ensure the safety of our shop and warehouse staff and future charity shop customers. Thank you so much for your support and we look forward to welcoming you to our shops and warehouse soon.”
