THE family of a "wonderful" great grandfather have paid tribute to him following a fatal crash.
Reginald John Kemp was pronounced dead after a collision involving his blue Nissan Micra and a black Ford Ranger on London Road in Petersfield just after 4.30pm on September 17.
The family of Mr Kemp, 86, of Lydnum Close, Petersfield, have paid tribute to him.
They said in a statement: "Reginald John Kemp, known as John, sadly taken from us on Thursday, 17 September.
"A loving husband to Magarette, caring father to Jacqueline and Karen, and a wonderful grandfather to seven grandchildren, and great grandfather to six great grandchildren.
"Fondly remembered by the whole family.
"May you rest in peace."
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash, and remain keen to speak to anyone who can help them understand what happened.
A Hampshire Police spokesperson said: "If you witnessed the collision, or saw the Micra, which had been following a second car in the lead up to the collision, or the Ranger prior to the incident, please contact us.
