Police have found an elderly hospital patient who was last seen in Stockbridge.
Ralph Carine left the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester at 2.30pm yesterday, police said, and a search was launched.
After leaving the Romsey Road hospital, officers said the 86-year-old had made his way to the Stockbridge area where he was seen walking at around 4pm.
At the time, a spokesman for the police said: "We are carrying out a number of enquiries to locate him however we are growing increasingly concerned for this welfare."
Police later tweeted to confirm he had been found safe.
