TOMORROW’S Basingstoke Town football match has been postponed due to a “COVID related situation.”
The BTFC first team were due to face Melksham Town FC on Saturday, October 31 at 3pm, away at the Oakfield Stadium in Wiltshire.
However, the club confirmed on a tweet this afternoon that the fixture is to be rescheduled.
It said: “We can confirm that tomorrow’s scheduled league game with Melksham has been postponed due to a COVID related situation.
“We of course send our best to those impacted.”

No further details of the circumstances surrounding the postponement were given, and the new date and time are yet to be confirmed.
But Merksham FC responded to the tweet, saying “Thank you”
