FRESH documents published by Parliament have revealed the thousands of pounds' worth of gifts and extra income Hampshire MPs have received over the past 12 months.
The register of MPs' financial interests has been published on the Parliament website, detailing any extra income or gifts they received up to November 9, 2020.
These include trips abroad as part of their duties as MPs, work outside of being an MP and gifts given to our MPs.
Here are all the trips, freebies, outside work and donations given to Hampshire MP’s over the last year:
Kit Malthouse: North West Hampshire
Owns shareholdings over 15% of issued share capital in County Finance Group Ltd.
Maria Miller: Basingstoke
Received no additional income, gifts or donations.
Ranil Jayawardena: North East Hampshire
Up until August Mr Jayawardena received share options valued at £40,000 from PepTcell Ltd in return for around eight days of work a year.
He also earnt around £2,600 a month in return for four days of work a month from TrustMark Ltd up until August.
Greater Western Railway provided the MP with free travel and made payments of £1,400 per year in return for between four and six days of work a year.
Payments totalling £1,070 were made to the MP from ComRes, YouGov and Ipsos MORI for completing surveys.
He received donation totalling £15,000 from two doners and also employs his wife, Alison Jayawardena, as part-time Senior Researcher.
Dr Julian Lewis: New Forest East
Has a property portfolio value of over £100,000 and/or a rental income of over £10,000 a year on a flat in London.
Damian Hinds: East Hampshire
Received donations from two separate donors totalling £7,000.
Has a property portfolio value of over £100,000 and/or a rental income of over £10,000 a year
from a residential property in Hampshire.
Suella Braverman: Fareham
Received donation of £3,000.
The MP has a property portfolio value of over £100,000 and/or a rental income of over £10,000 a year from a flat in London.
Caroline Dinenage: Gosport
Received donation for from two doners totalling £4,500.
Sir Desmond Swayne: New Forest West
Earned a total of £1,850 through completed surveys but the money was paid direct to charity.
The MP has a property portfolio value of over £100,000 and/or a rental income of over £10,000 a year from a house in London, jointly owned with his wife.
He also employs his wife, Moira Swayne as Secretary.
Dr Alan Whitehead: Southampton Test
The MP has a property portfolio value of over £100,000 and/or a rental income of over £10,000 a year from a holiday cottage in Devon.
Steve Brine: Winchester
Up until January he received £1,667 a month for up to 16 hours work giving speeches, networking and Q&A sessions for the pharmaceutical company Sigma.
Sigma also make payments of £1,666 a month for up to eight hours work on contributory articles, attending or speaking at events and conferences and hosting webinars.
In addition, he receives £1,600 a month from Remedium Partners for providing up to eight hours of work as a Strategic Adviser. He also received a one-off payment of £800 from Remedium Partners for eight hours of work.
Mr Brine is also a strategic adviser to Microlink PC (UK) Ltd and receives £1,600 a month for up to 8 hours of work per month.
Payments totalling £1,650 were made to the MP from ComRes, YouGov and Ipsos MORI for completing surveys.
Universal Music Group International gifted him two tickets to the BRIT Awards and after party on which were valued at £2,280.
He received donation totalling £5,000.
Royston Smith: Southampton Itchen
He received £18,000 from Barker Mill Estates for 90 hours of work carried out.
The payment were made in three instalments of £6,000 every three months on the basis he works 10 hours a month.
The MP was paid £1,695 for completing opinion surveys for the likes of ComRes, YouGov, Ipsos MORI and CT Group but the money was donated to local charities.
He received donation for from nine doners totalling 24,500, which he sates was for the 2019 General Election.
In addition, the MP has a property portfolio value of over £100,000 and/or a rental income of over £10,000 a year from three flats in Southampton and has over 15% of issued share capital in the political consultancy company Vigilo Ltd trading as RMJ Public Relations.
Caroline Nokes: Romsey and Southampton North
Received donation for from two doners totalling £10,000 which she sates was for the 2019 General Election.
She was also gifted two tickets to Cheltenham Festival at a total value £600 by GVC Holdings PLC.
Leo Docherty: Aldershot
He received donation to the of £3,000.
The MP has a rental income of over £10,000 a year from a flat he owns in Edinburgh. Up until august he was also receiving rental income from a cottage in Oxfordshire owned jointly with his wife.
Stephen Morgan: Portsmouth South
As Councillor and Labour Group Leader, Mr Morgan receives a monthly allowance of £1,210 for 25-40 hours of work per month. The allowance is given to local voluntary and charitable organisations.
Flights, accommodation and transport to the United States of America were paid for so that the MP could “experience the launch of Solar Orbiter”, visit NASA and advance his understanding of the USA’s space programme and UK space policy topics.
His trip was from February 3 to February 8 and cost a total of £6,600.
He also received donation for from five doners totalling £19,720.
Penny Mordaunt: Portsmouth North
For speaking at a labour relations conference, the MP received £2,500.
She was paid £6,993 for a separate speech to a business seminar in Frankfurt.
A total of £5,000 was received from two doners.
Mrs Flick Drummond: Meon Valley
Received donation for from three doners totalling £15,000.
Alan Mak: Havant
Received donation for from three doners totalling £28,260.
Langstone Quays Hotel Ltd also gifted the MP with venue use for a local Party member function at the value of £600.
Clarification
In a previous version of this article it was stated that Mr Holmes had received donations from three donors totalling £2,000. It was also stated that the MP had received a payment of £980.31 from Luton Borough Council, and that he has a property portfolio value of over £100,000 and/or a rental income of over £10,000 a year from house in Luton, used also for his partner's business.
