Part of the line between Andover and London Waterloo will be closed this weekend for engineering work, causing changes to South Western Railway services.

On Sunday, January 10, the line from Andover to Weybridge, as well as branch lines to Guildford, Ascot and Aldershot, will be closed all day. Services from London Waterloo to Exeter will start at Andover, while Reading to Salisbury services will not run at all.

Replacement bus services will be in place between Andover and Woking, via Guildford, with further buses available to take passengers to Weybridge, where the line is open and trains can be caught on to London Waterloo.

For further information, those planning to travel this weekend should check South Western Railway’s website to plan their journey.
