A NEW care home is set to open in a Hampshire town this April.

The general manager of the new Snowdrop Place Care Home in Hedge End has now received the keys to the home as building work came to an end.

Barchester Healthcare's new home is due to open in April and is set to offer "bespoke person-centred residential, dementia and respite care in stunning surroundings".

Snowdrop Place has been built by The Highwood Group and now the team that will work there "can’t wait" to open the doors.

General Manager, Sarah Davies, said: “It has been such an amazing journey and I am so proud to be the General Manager of this stunning luxury home.

"I am so keen for us to open so we can see this home full of life.”

The home is preparing to welcome its first residents in the coming weeks.

At the home there is a café, spa bathrooms, en-suite bedrooms with smart TVs, lounges, a dedicated activities room, a cinema, and an in-house hair and beauty salon.

The team at the new home are available to answer any questions for people who are considering care for themselves or for a loved one.
