Longparish man charged

A MAN will appear in court later this month charged with inciting a child to sexually touch themselves.

John Charles Kingston, of North Acre in Longparish, is charged with inciting the girl to touch her vagina and talking to her about sex on a webcam.

The 58-year-old will appear at Winchester Crown Court on March 31, and has been released on unconditional bail.

No pleas have been entered.

Man fined after resisting officer

A MAN has been fined after resisting police officers in Andover.

Mathew Stuart William Vandome resisted PS Clarke in the execution of his duty on January 18, on Columbus Way.

It came after he was found to be driving a Vauxhall Vectra without insurance or a licence.

The next day, he was again found to be behind the wheel without insurance or a licence, and resisted PC Judd.

For the six offences, which he pleaded guilty to at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court last week, he was fined a total of £200.

Vandome, of no fixed abode, was banned from driving for six months, and ordered to pay costs of £45 and a £34 victim surcharge.

Lengthy driving ban

A MAN has been banned from driving for three years after he failed to complete a blood test for police.

Arron Robert Blyth, of Bulbery in Abbotts Ann, was stopped in Salisbury on December 20, 2020, when he was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

But Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court heard last week that the 35-year-old failed to supply a blood sample when asked.

A day earlier, he had been found driving a Peugeot 206 when there was no insurance.

Blyth was fined a total of £1,230 and banned from driving for three years.

He was further ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £123 and costs of £85.

Man admits drug driving

A MAN has been banned from driving after admitting drug driving in Andover.

Bradwyn Jones, of Weavers Close in Middle Winterslow, Wiltshire, was driving on Walworth Road last August when he was under the influence of drugs.

THC, a breakdown product of cannabis, was found in his blood.

The 23-year-old was fined £288, and banned from driving for a year.

He will also pay £85 in costs and a £34 victim surcharge.
