IN THIS age of the selfie, many people have been lucky enough to have a snap with a celebrity – whether it’s a pop star doing a ‘Meet and Greet’ or an A-list actor walking down the street.

So we asked for your ‘celebrity selfies’ and you didn’t disappoint at all.

From award-winning comedian and actor Russell Brand to American former professional boxer Mike Tyson, the Advertiser readers came up with nearly 100 celebrity selfies on our Facebook page.

Smartphones have made it easier than ever to grab a photo with a famous face when we are out and about. And, Adam Bacon has done just that.

He took a selfie with Russell Brand, which he shared on Facebook.

While, Nathaniel Coyle-Palmer shared a photo with Tyson, writing: “Me and a few others met Mike Tyson [in] Vegas.”

Holly Steele shared a selfie with Noel Gallagher and wrote: “Met Noel Gallagher in London when I was lost and looking a right state.”

For the fans of American TV series Kenan & Kel, Marissa Robson shared a photo of Kenan Thompson with her kids. She added: “When Kenan from Keenan and Kell surprised my girls when they were younger at our house.”

Emma Bindi Smith had a selfie with Fatboy Slim to share. She had taken the celebrity selfie when she met him at Glastonbury.

Similarly, Michelle Hood posted a photo with Howie Dorough from the Backstreet Boys.

Claire Rickards had a photo of her daughters with Simon Cowell to share. She also added: “He was actually really lovely!”

When Megan Thorne met David Tennant at the premiere of the fantasy TV series Good Omens, she didn’t forget to take a selfie either.
