A MAN who wounded his victim and attempted to rob him of hundreds of pounds during an incident in Andover will be sentenced next month.
John Oakes appeared at Winchester Crown Court on Thursday where he pleaded guilty to unlawfully wounding Kieron James Taylor on April 21, 2019. The 20-year-old also admitted to attempting to rob the same man on the same day.
The court was told that Oakes is currently serving a sentence for concerned in the supply of drugs and possession with intent to supply.
Mr Recorder Newton-Price QC ordered a pre-sentence report. Oakes will appear at the same court on May 14 to be sentenced.
