An Amport man has been arrested on drugs charges after being stopped by police on the M3.
Louis Guy Wood, of Monxton Road in Amport has been charged with possession with intent to supply a Class A drug and has been remanded in custody.
It comes after the 31-year-old was stopped in a vehicle by patrolling officers at around 6.44pm on Monday, April 19, at the junction nine slip road on the M3.
A quantity of drugs, cash, and a phone were seized from the vehicle.
He was due to appear before Basingstoke Magistrates Court this morning (April 21).
