A NEW wine shop and tasting room is set to open in Goodworth Clatford, south of Andover.
Goodworth Clatford Vineyard in Church Lane has applied to Test Valley Borough Council for the sale of wine as they plan to open a wine shop and occasional tasting room.
According to a public notice published by the TVBC, the application has been submitted by Cecilia Edith Birgitta Haszlakiewicz on behalf of Goodworth Clatford Vineyard.
The application seeks to license an agricultural shed to be converted as a wine tasting room. The middle space of this building will be used for occasional wine tastings and sale of wine.
In addition, the application seeks to license a room within Manor Farm House which will be used for sales of wines. The application says in-person sales will be by appointment or invitation only.
If granted, the vineyard will get licence to sell alcohol for consumption both on and off the premises from 8am to 11pm.
