Police have appealed for witnesses after burglars scaled the outside of an Andover building to rob a flat.

Burglars broke into the home on Charlton Road by climbing onto the first floor flat’s balcony and smashing their way in through the door window. Inside, police said they tore the room apart in a “messy search” before making off with £3,000.

Police have now released CCTV images of three individuals they would like to talk with, and have asked members of the public to help identify them.

The burglary took place on May 31 between 4:30pm and 10pm, when the unknown individuals broke into the flat.

The CCTV images released by the police show that the persons of interest the police would like to speak to are three men, all wearing masks in a car park.

One of the suspects is black, wearing a black beanie hat, while the other two men are both white, with one wearing a black Nike top and another wearing a grey hoodie.

Police believe they may have “valuable information about what happened” and want to speak to them regarding the burglary.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: “If you know these men, or have any information which could help officers in their enquiries, please contact us on 101 or report online, quoting 44210212150.”
