Residents enjoyed another joyful Friday as Four Fun Fridays reached halfway through its annual run of free family-friendly activities in Andover.

The second event of the festival last Friday saw bug sculpture and bug craft sessions, art confessional booth and river dipping at Riverside Park, while there were urban canvas, balloonatic in High Street.

Chantry Centre’s garden area also hosted events like craft sessions.

Four Fun Fridays is a four-week festival held in Andover in August, organised by Test Valley Borough Council, in conjunction with Andover Vision.

The first week had events like Adambara and Zhim walkabout theatre, storytelling with Amanda Thumelina, Three little pigs and Japanese fan decorating.

There will be two more weeks of Four Fun Fridays – today (August 20) and next Friday (August 27).

Next week’s events include big dragonfly sculpture and make your own beetles from recycled materials, storytelling with Amanda, pirate Jim’s magic map and circus allstars.
