Two-hundred-and-thirteen households in Test Valley will receive court orders instructing them to pay council tax bills.

Test Valley Borough Council successfully took out liability orders at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court last week. This happens when council tax is not paid.

If that ‘attachment’ is not possible, enforcement action can be taken.

The council were also granted 35 liability orders for non-payment of community infrastructure levy, a charge of new development in the area, and 19 liability orders for non-payment of business rates.
