A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of common assault from a property in Andover yesterday (Sunday).
Police said the 34-year-old man was arrested from a property on Wye Court.
Residents reported to the Advertiser seeing "half a dozen" police officers arriving on Wye Court, near Icknield House, on Sunday evening.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary told the Advertiser: “We were called at 6.15pm yesterday, October 10, to reports of an assault at an address on River Way in Andover.
“A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of common assault. He remains in custody at this time.”
