A major road near Forton has been reopened after police blocked it for 45 minutes following an incident on Longparish Road.
One lane of the A303 westbound was blocked at B3048 Longparish Road, causing a 45-minute delay, according to the official Twitter handle of Hampshire County Council’s live travel updates

A spokesperson for the Hampshire Constabulary has now confirmed that the road is reopened following reports of a broken down vehicle.
"We were called at 12.06pm today (Wednesday, October 13) to reports of a broken down vehicle on the A303 near Forton.
"The carriageway has now been reopened and the vehicle has been recovered."
