REGULAR punters at an Andover pub have been raising funds for a variety of charities over the past few months.
Customers at the Foresters Arms have recently raised a considerable amount for local charities.
On September 17, a golf tournament was organised by Dickie White and Kev Mulsberry.
It saw the Foresters Arms team take on the Clatford Arms and raised £300 in total.
£150 of the total raised was presented to Countess of Brecknock hospice, based at Andover War Memorial Hospital, with the remaining £150 donated to Heartburn Cancer UK.
September ‘s charity quiz night also raised £50 for the Countess of Brecknock, and this was added to thanks to October’s charity quiz night , which raised an extra £50 for the Countess of Brecknock and £50 for Teenage Cancer Trust.
Then November’s charity quiz night raised £85 for Icknield Children’s School in Andover.
The pub has also raised £50 for Lennox Children’s charity.
The fun quiz nights are organised by Abbey Sadler and Jasmin Duke, who give up their own time to organise events enjoyed by all.
The pub additionally raised £140 on its Macmillan Coffee Morning, with a delicious cakes made by Greg Lloyd.
